God can use adaptive family models to disciple children and

less mature believers.

1.  Discipleship Can Take Place Through the Traditional Family Model

     (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - Genesis 17:9)

     Married couples have the privilege and responsibility of

     discipling their children.

 
2.  Discipleship Can Take Place Through the Related Family Model

     (Mordecai and Esther - Esther 2:5-7)

     God can work through relatives to care for and disciple

     extended family.

 
3.  Discipleship Can Take Place Through the One-Parent Family Model

     (Eunice and Timothy - Acts 16:1 ; 2 Timothy 1:5)

     God can help single parents or those without a Christian

     spouse disciple their children.

4.  Discipleship Can Take Place Through the Adopted Family Model

     (Paul and Titus - Titus 1:4)

     God uses mature believers to disciple less mature believers.
