GOD'S DESIGN FOR MARRIAGE
Matthew 19:1-12
In answering a question about divorce, Jesus taught powerful truths
about marriage.
1. Marriage is for a Lifetime: Stick With It! (Matthew 19:1-6)
Since it is God who joins a man and woman together in marriage,
no one should try to break the relationship apart.
2. Divorce Should Be a Rare Exception: Avoid It! (Matthew 19:7-9)
Divorce was never God's design for marriage; it is another product
of mankind's fall into sin.
3. Singleness Makes Room for Kingdom Service: Embrace It!
(Matthew 18:28-35)
Those who choose to remain single are no less valuable than those
who marry.
