FAMILY THEME: THE RISEN KING

Matthew 28:1-15

Everything in our faith hinges on the Resurrection.

1.  Jesus' Resurrection Was Verified by an Empty Tomb

     (Matthew 28:1-6)

The only logical explanation for the empty tomb is the
     Resurrection of Jesus.

2.  Jesus' Resurrection Was Verified by His Physical Appearance

     (Matthew 28:7-10)

Our confidence is bolstered by the many that saw
and verified the bodily resurrection of Jesus.

3.  Jesus Rose From the Dead, Despite Those Who Claimed Otherwise

     (Matthew 28:11-15)

The failure of the efforts to cover up the Resurrection
only serves to intensify its truth and power.

Jesus comes to us in a manner that encourages us to approach
     Him.
