FAMILY THEME: SOUND FAITH

FAITH YOU CAN COUNT ON

Titus 1:1-16

Titus was Paul's friend, fellow worker, and missionary partner.
Titus was leading the church on the island of Crete when Paul
wrote this letter to him. As a young pastor, Titus needed to
learn the importance of building the church on sound faith.

1.  Sound Faith Rests on the Truth of God's Word

     (Titus 1:1-4)

God has revealed the truth of the gospel in His Word.

2.  Qualified Leaders Teach and Model Sound Faith

     (Titus 1:5-9)

God's design is for qualified leaders to model a godly
lifestyle and sound faith to others.

3.  Sound Faith Must Be Protected

     (Titus 1:10-16)

False teaching and worldly philosophies can damage
people's faith. The church and her leaders cannot
     tolerate false doctrine.
