FAMILY THEME: GENERATIONAL DISCIPLESHIP

Deuteronomy 6:5-9 ; Ephesians 4:11-13 ; Galatians 5:22-23

With the support of the body of Christ, parents are to disciple their children.

1.  Parents are to be the Primary Disciplers of Their Children

     (Deuteronomy 6:5-9)

     God calls parents to disciple their children by shaping their hearts.

 
2.  A Church Family Supports the Parent's Efforts to Disciple Their Children

     (Ephesians 4:11-13 ; 2 Timothy 1:3-5)

     Parents can seek the help of the church family to help disciple their children.

 
3.  The Bible Gives Us Principles for Discipling Our Children

     (Galatians 5:22-23 ; Isaiah 1:18 ; Proverbs 15:22 ; Ephesians 4:15)

     Use the Bible as your map when discipling your children.
