John 20:1-31
The Romans crucified many people in the time they ruled the
world. Jesus was unique among these executions because He
didn't stay dead.
✞ Evidence at the Empty Tomb Pointed to the Resurrection
(John 20:1-10)
The stone rolled away, the empty tomb, and the neatly
arranged grave clothes convinced Jesus' followers that
His body was not there.
✞ Jesus Appeared to His Followers and Sent Them to
Share the Good News
(John 20:11-23)
Mary Magdelene, after her encounter with the angels,
met the risen Savior in the garden. Later He joined the
disciples in a locked room.
✞ Jesus Gave Thomas Undeniable Evidence
(John 20:24-31)
Though Thomas was not there when Jesus met with
the other disciples, he was completely convinced of
the Resurrection when Jesus met them eight days
later.
