FAMILY THEME: ENDURING IN TRUTH

2 Thessalonians 2:1-17

Paul addressed concerns regarding the Second Coming

that apparently were the result of false teachers.

1.  The Future Can Be Unsettling

     (2 Thessalonians 2:1-5)

     Some at Thessalonica had the mistaken belief that

     they had somehow missed Christ's return.

 
2.  The Deception of Wickedness is at Work

     (2 Thessalonians 2:6-12)

     Paul indicated that when the "lawless one" appeared,

     many would believe his deception.

 
3.  The Path of Endurance

     (2 Thessalonians 2:13-17)

     Believers need to stand firm in the truth knowing that

     God will establish them and their good works.
