FAMILY THEME: THE KING'S COMMISSION

Matthew 28:16-20;  Acts 1:6-11

We have been commissioned to intentionally engage in spreading the

good news to all people in all places.

1.  Christ's Commission is to Make Disciples of Every People Group,

     Teaching Them to Obey All of God's Word

     (Matthew 28:16-20)

     We have been commissioned by God to make disciples as a

     primary function of our lives in His service.

 
2.  Christ's Commission is to Witness Inclusively to All Nations

     (Acts 1:6-8)

     God's desire is for all people to hear the gospel and for us

     to carry out that desire.

 
3.  Christ's Commission is Our Mission Until He Returns

     (Acts 1:9-11)

     Christ will return to judge all men according to the gospel,

     both on their belief in Him and faithfulness to His commands.
