Genesis 28:1-22

Jacob obeyed and was reassured of God's promises to his family.

1.  God is With Us in Our Obedience

     (Genesis 28:1-9)

     Isaac commanded Jacob not to marry a Canaanite woman but

     to take a wife from his mother's relatives. 

 
2.  God Will Accomplish His Promises

     (Genesis 28:10-15)

     Jacob's dream confirmed that God was actively involved and

     working in the affairs of this world.

 
3.  God's Presence Results in Worship

     (Genesis 28:16-22)

     When Jacob awoke from his dream, he worshiped God.
