1 Peter 2:1-12; 3:8-17

Peter taught that the people of God are precious to Him and are

called to grow in Him and glorify Him.

1.  God's Goodness Calls Us to Spiritual Life and Growth

     (1 Peter 2:1-3)

     When we truly taste how good God is, we experience true

     satisfaction; the cheap imitation produced by sin can't

     compare.

 
2.  Believers Are Chosen in Christ and Precious to God

     (1 Peter 2:4-10)

     We are all priests and God's chosen people through Christ.

 
3.  Believers Live to Glorify God Before Man

     (1 Peter 2:11-12; 3:8-17)

     Believers should live such godly lives that people glorify

     God because of how we live.
